Hows about an Intelligent Design moron to pass the time?

From my video “Kirk Cameron disproves Pascal's wager”. Which, coincidentally, has 46,000 views – holy cow!

DNA: a digital, redundant, error-correcting, self-replicating CODE: exactly what SETI looks for as proof of intelligence. Codes are information. Information CAN'T evolve; it only comes from intelligence. The irreducable complexity of flagellar motors: capable of 100,000 rpms & can stop at a quarter turn. 40 parts, only 10 of which can be explained by evolution. They must be in a particular order. Lose a part & it doesn't work, thus it can't evolve. It's DESIGNED.

Nope. S.E.T.I. looks for radio signals that are unlikely to have occurred by natural sources. Discrimination is the key. They don’t go “oh there’s a pattern – aliens!” these people are scientists.

“Codes are information. Information CAN'T evolve; it only comes from intelligence.”

You pulled that from your arse. You have genes. Those genes are “information”. Those genes copy themselves with modifications. Those modifications can result in novel traits. Congratulations, your “information” has evolved.

Lose a section from the base of a tower and it will collapse.
Thus the tower couldn’t have been built bit-by-bit, HAIL JESUS!

It would be nice if people actually took something away from Timothy's disbelief. Even if it was a political snipe at the time. Not that I want people to run around believing in God simply for lack of a better answer, but it would be nice if people maybe considered that faith is about having faith in something you can't prove rather than trying to stare at a science textbook until you go 'ah-ha! I got them now!' and then looking like an idiot when you get shot down.

The umbrella in particular is remembered as the symbol of the nineteenth century’s disturbing obsession with individualism. In Bellamy’s utopia, umbrellas have been replaced with retractable canopies so that everyone is protected from the rain equally.
“In the nineteenth century,” explains a character, “when it rained, the people of Boston put up three hundred thousand umbrellas over as many heads, and in the twentieth century they put up one umbrella over all the heads.”
