This is a very interesting video. I think this is very true. Men have a much higher need for sex than women, porn fills up a gap here.

That might be true, but it doesn't make men look very good. That's like saying men are such horny dogs that if they can't make themselves fell good looking at videos or pictures that exploit women, they will go to any length to get sexual plessure. Even mentally or emotionally scarring someone.

Does that make men sex addicts? I know it's not always completely about sex, some people get a thrill from having power over someone else, but if you have that many fireworks going off in your pants that you would do that to someone something is wrong with you.

Just to be clear I am not talking about all men.

On the whole porn up, rape down do you think there should be an increase in child porn, so there are less pedophiles.(adults have a greater need for sex than children)

People like to say women and children first, why wasn't there to many problems with saying childrem first? Is it because people think there not as strong and innocent?

not as strong:weaker sex innocent:lady like

“That might be true, but it doesn't make men look very good.”

If that is the truth of the world then so be it. I am not a defender of men.

“That's like saying men are such horny dogs that if they can't make themselves fell good looking at videos or pictures that exploit women, they will go to any length to get sexual plessure. Even mentally or emotionally scarring someone.”

Your portrayal of the argument doesn’t quite work in the micro, but in the macro there will be a pool of males who would have raped out of sexual frustration. Ease of access to pornographic materials will reduce the sexual frustrations of some of them enough to lower instances of rape, others will have a worse constitution and will still go on to rape.

“Does that make men sex addicts? I know it's not always completely about sex, some people get a thrill from having power over someone else, but if you have that many fireworks going off in your pants that you would do that to someone something is wrong with you.”

Men have higher sex drives than women do. I do not know what would qualify as an addict, but it is outside the norm, so no, men are not sex addicts, it’s just that their sexual nature is high.

“On the whole porn up, rape down do you think there should be an increase in child porn, so there are less pedophiles.(adults have a greater need for sex than children)”

No, because for child porn to exist a child had to be abused, which is evil and illegal.
If a paedophile finds a legal act stops his urges then he should participate in that act as much as possible to stop himself offending.

“People like to say women and children first, why wasn't there to many problems with saying childrem first? Is it because people think there not as strong and innocent?”

All animals innately want to protect their young, its biology.
Children are the next generation and are largely innocent and under our protection.

"If that is the truth of the world then so be it."

Does that mean you don't care about how the actions of some men effect people? Just a question.

"Your portrayal of the argument doesn’t quite work in the micro, but in the macro there will be a pool of males who would have raped out of sexual frustration. Ease of access to pornographic materials will reduce the sexual frustrations of some of them enough to lower instances of rape, others will have a worse constitution and will still go on to rape."

That is kind of what I said

"Men have higher sex drives than women do. I do not know what would qualify as an addict, but it is outside the norm, so no, men are not sex addicts, it’s just that their sexual nature is high."

When the drive is so high for something that you would do almost anything to get it, your an addict, but like I said before I am not talking about all men.

"No, because for child porn to exist a child had to be abused, which is evil and illegal."

Some children, like adults, chose to do that. People don't think children are old enough to know what there getting themselves into. I think it's evil to abuse or exploit anyone, man, woman, or child.

"If a paedophile finds a legal act stops his urges then he should participate in that act as much as possible to stop himself offending."

Like giving plessure to themself without exploiting anyone.

"All animals innately want to protect their young, its biology.
Children are the next generation and are largely innocent and under our protection."

I talked about that in the last line of my comment but it might not have been that easy to read. I'll try again.

not as strong : weaker sex
    innocent : lady like

I disagree about men having a higher sex drive than women. I mean, it depends on the individual. I've had a higher sex drive than any man I've ever been with. I'm happily married and we have sex when we're both in the mood. The rest of the time, I break out the vibrator and find something fun to watch on Xtube. Sometimes he worries that we don't have enough sex. I had to let him know that we could be having it every day and I'd still surf for porn and masturbate because I'm just perpetually horny.

I think that porn and sex toys are a great outlet for either gender. But I also think that the overwhelming majority of men would never rape, no matter how horny they became. Rape is a violent and terrible thing to do to anther human being. Most men would not be willing to do something so evil just to get off.

"I mean, it depends on the individual."

That’s true of every statement. If that is the standard of measurement then one could not make a general statement about anything. Surely you would agree that men are, in general, stronger than women. However, say I knew a man who was married to a woman who was stronger. Then could I say that the previous generalisation was not true? No I could not. Likewise, the general statement that men have a higher sex drive than women must be considered in the same way and not in the context of personal anecdotes.

Think about it. Can you honestly say that this generalisation that men have higher sex drives isn’t true? For a great argument check out Dennis Prager’s video on men and the visual:

The umbrella in particular is remembered as the symbol of the nineteenth century’s disturbing obsession with individualism. In Bellamy’s utopia, umbrellas have been replaced with retractable canopies so that everyone is protected from the rain equally.
“In the nineteenth century,” explains a character, “when it rained, the people of Boston put up three hundred thousand umbrellas over as many heads, and in the twentieth century they put up one umbrella over all the heads.”
