Fred on common sense

Since I read a part of his article in my latest video. I though it would be a cool idea to list some of his best material as regards feminism.

I recommend you go on over and check out all of his stuff.

That was awesome. I hope Fred writes more. It is hilarous and sad at the same time.

Fred did give up at one point. But he continued, much to my delight.

I read this in the Marriage or Not? article:

"Don't do it, guys. At least, don't do it unless you have a bomb-proof pre-nup saying that when the divorce comes,"
I'm not an attorney but this is what I've read and heard...

Pre-nups are crap for a number of reasons. First, nothing in a pre-nup can be against a social norm. So, if the pre-nup states no child support it won't hold. Second, and most importantly pre-nups usually have a time limit of 10 years. After that they are void.

Yeah, I recognised the quote. I would agree that pre-nups in themselves are not perfect. However, if a hot-headed lad is going to tie the knot anyway then I would rather he get one than not.

The umbrella in particular is remembered as the symbol of the nineteenth century’s disturbing obsession with individualism. In Bellamy’s utopia, umbrellas have been replaced with retractable canopies so that everyone is protected from the rain equally.
“In the nineteenth century,” explains a character, “when it rained, the people of Boston put up three hundred thousand umbrellas over as many heads, and in the twentieth century they put up one umbrella over all the heads.”
